Girls and Dads, Dr. Meg Meeker.  Knocks it out of the park.  Simple, plain-spoken from an MD who struggles with and for teens.  Being a good girl dad ain't that complicate...shore is hard.  She helps.  While you're at it, pick up her Let Boys Be Boys.  It's her newest and has the same common sense stuff

The Me Generation Jean Twenge. A prof and shrink writes a fascinating assessment of how your Millennial Generation children (and grands) are more confident, assertive and entitled and more miserable than ever.  It's one of the many academic generational books we use in our research; this one is for mom and pop.
