If you don’t live in the country, you probably think fence posts are to hold up the fence. Well, partially right. They are the early Internet for range riding ranchers. In a can tacked to the post or painted on a picket next to the gate some instructions would be left at the crossroads where fences and ranch roads come together.
Here is where we post our electronic pickets for folks. Like water coolers in the city or watering holes out here, Fence Posts is where we communicate. The goal is to build the dialog to help all of us get a better get a grip on how fathers can best meet the toughest, the most wondrous, the most significant the most enduring challenge of their entire lives (once you have that husband thing figured out).

If you've ever been on a trail ride you know them criters like to follow nose-to-tail in a pecking order. Every now and then we yell, "Join up!" so's we can pull up, side-by-side, share some water, spam or jerky, maybe, and, especially some talking. Best ideas of life very often come from saddlemates joining up. There's four trails you can take to get to the roundup.
